With a slate that includes bold documentaries, scripted series, and groundbreaking originals, Onyx Collective pushes the cultural conversation forward by telling authentic, nuanced stories that reflect the diversity of today’s audiences. Through strategic digital campaigns and curated community engagement, Onyx connects with viewers who are seeking fresh perspectives and impactful storytelling.
My Role:
I contributed to social media strategy by ideating concepts and developing content for the brand’s social calendar, working closely with creative producers and Disney stakeholders. I crafted platform-optimized copy and culturally relevant content that aligned with client guidelines, key cultural moments, and priority titles and talent activations. I also supported community engagement and monitored performance metrics, providing weekly and monthly insights that informed ongoing content planning and optimization. Through this work, I helped ensure that Onyx Collective’s social presence resonated authentically with its audience while staying aligned with the brand’s mission to amplify underrepresented voices.
